Moonlight

Moonlight oh so bright..
Like a silvery dew on earth
The stillness and silence of night wraps around me
The trees, earth, air and sky..
all resting in the embrace of moonlight
Where is my embrace..where is my lover..?
I hope that he thinks of me as he breathes this white light
The moonlight, it burns, and the soft breeze hurts..
As I wait for his warm embrace
And soft caress and a kiss on my forehead
How he would beam with my glow..while I blossom
I remember those vivid precious moments...
as we watched the moon spread its splendor in the river..... wind rustles and serenades me, and I sing to you
